Privacy policy

BeyBladePro ("we", "us") makes the game BeyBladePro for iPhone and iPad. This policy explains what information the game uses and why.
What we don't do
- No ads, no advertising identifiers, no analytics SDKs and no tracking across other apps or websites.
- We don't sell or share personal information.
- The game doesn't ask for your real name, email address, contacts, photos, camera or microphone. The optional Founder ID on this website is described below.
Saved games
Your progress and settings are saved on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, your save is also stored in your private iCloud account so it follows you across your devices. We can't access your iCloud data.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple; we never receive your payment details. To confirm which purchases you own and deliver them, the game uses RevenueCat, Inc. (revenuecat.com/privacy). RevenueCat receives your App Store purchase history under a random, anonymous app user ID that isn't linked to your identity.
Game Center
If you sign in to Apple Game Center, Apple provides your Game Center nickname and avatar for invites, matchmaking, leaderboards and achievements. Scores and achievements are stored by Apple, and Apple's privacy policy applies.
Online world and battles
When you play online, the game uses Epic Online Services (Epic Games, Inc., epicgames.com/site/privacypolicy) to place you in a shared world with other players and to relay online battles. For this, an anonymous player ID created for your device, your display name, your chosen character and bey, and your in-game position and actions are exchanged with other players in the same world. Epic does not receive your real name or email from us.
Approximate location (optional)
If you allow it, the game uses your approximate location (city or region level only) once per session to put you in a world with players from your area. Your location is reduced to a coarse region code on your device; your precise location is never sent, stored or shown to anyone. If you decline, you join a global world. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings, BeyBladePro, Location.
Founder ID and community (this website)
The Founder ID on /join is optional and free. It has no password: a private founder link is your login. When you claim one, we store exactly this:
- your blader name (public on your Founder ID, crew pages and leaderboards) and your founder number;
- the time you joined (the live ticker shows how long ago a founder joined);
- your home city, picked from a list of big cities. It lights up the live map as an anonymous dot: a city and a count, never your name (founders who joined before the dot existed keep their earlier choice). Your blader name appears with your city in the live ticker, and your city on your Founder ID and its share image, only if you switch that on in My ID; it is off unless you tick it. You can switch either off or on any time on My ID, and change your city there. Your exact location is never stored;
- your chosen bey colour, and your crew if you join one;
- your email, so we can send your Founder ID and reach you at launch and about your Founder rewards. It is never shown and never sold. Joining also signs you up for occasional founder news (launch dates, events, drops and polls), as stated at the join button; unsubscribe any time on My ID or with the link in every email;
- if you turn on launch alerts, a push subscription for that browser, held by OneSignal and linked to your Founder ID by a random id (never your name or email). You can turn alerts off in your browser settings any time;
- a hashed (salted, one-way) form of your IP address network, for rate limits and fair referral counting, kept on your Founder ID and in short-lived rate-limit counters; a daily clean-up deletes it once it is 24 hours old (so within 2 days at most), and the raw IP is never stored;
- hashed forms of your founder link and your one-time claim code, and which friends joined with your invite;
- your poll votes, your Launch Wall posts (preset phrases only) and the posts you report or bladers you block.
Your claim code is entered in the game once to collect your rewards. Rewards unlock in the game at launch. Anyone holding your founder link can open your Founder ID, so keep it private. We use Vercel to host the site, Neon to store this data and OneSignal to deliver emails and push alerts (OneSignal receives your email, your blader name, founder number, home city and news choice, and nothing else). Your Founder ID badge shows only what your public Founder ID page shows.
To delete it: open My ID on a device signed in with your founder link and use Delete my data (the "Delete my Founder ID" button). That removes your Founder ID, email, votes, posts, reports and blocks at once. Or email cppingale@gmail.com with your blader name from the email address saved on your Founder ID, and we will delete it for you. Blader names are public, so we can't act on a request from any other address (without a saved email, use the button on My ID).
Children
The game is suitable for general audiences. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. The website Founder ID is for ages 13 and over. Online Multiverse chat is filtered (no links or contact details), rate-limited, and supports Report and Block; only place names from an opt-in coarse location leave the device.
Your choices

- Turn location access off in iOS Settings.
- Sign out of Game Center in iOS Settings.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
- Deleting the app removes local data; you can remove iCloud data in iOS Settings, your name, iCloud, Manage Storage.
